Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position available in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves working in a rehabilitative unit dedicated to outpatient therapy services. The selected candidate will provide patient evaluations, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional training, supporting the recovery and mobility of patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Gainesville, FL
- Shift: Day shift; 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license, BLS certification, 1 year of experience in outpatient therapy, Florida state license; no minimum experience required beyond licensure
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience preferred, adaptable to a fast-paced outpatient unit, ability to function independently
- Additional Information: The position is part of a new hospital and unit startup, with a need for flexibility in handling patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, family and patient education, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
