Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient in a healthcare setting. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring safe and effective care based on physician directives. The position requires a focus on patient recovery and functional improvement, along with educational responsibilities for patients, families, and colleagues.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; located within the service area; experience as outlined; certification and licensure requirements in good standing; includes a minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations and develops targeted treatment plans aimed at progressing patients toward discharge within the established length of stay. Ensures documentation of care is clear, accurate, and timely, including goal setting, functional assessments, and proper billing. Participates in student education and contributes to professional development through continuing education. Adheres to state practice acts, maintains licensure, and complies with organizational performance improvement initiatives.
