Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience; CPR Certification.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develops individualized treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay.
- Performs accurate and timely documentation, including goal writing, functional assessments, and medical necessity letters, in compliance with all applicable guidelines and policies.
- Ensures care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval parameters.
- Participates in student educational programs, creating positive learning environments with appropriate supervision and evaluation.
- Actively pursues professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations.
- Adheres to all relevant State Practice Acts and maintains professional licensure in good standing, completing continuing education requirements as mandated.
- Demonstrates understanding of the organization’s performance improvement initiatives and contributes feedback to enhance service quality.
