Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) – Outpatient setting in a healthcare facility. Job Details
- Position Description: Evaluates all assigned patients, develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans aligned with patient needs, goals, and physician instructions. Responsible for delegation and direction of therapy services for assigned patients, designing functional treatment programs to facilitate community reintegration, and serving as an educator for patients, families, and team members. Ensures compliance with organizational standards and safety protocols, reflecting the organization’s Mission Statement and Core Values.
- Certifications, Education Requirements, or Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; 6 months of additional experience is highly desired.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Performs comprehensive patient evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans with clinical reasoning, and documents in medical records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies. Participates in student programs, pursues ongoing professional development, and maintains licensure in good standing. Adheres to all standards related to safety, professional conduct, and performance improvement initiatives.
