Job Summary:
This Physical Therapist (PT) position is based in Woodland, California, providing home health services within Yolo County. The role involves assessing, evaluating, and implementing physical therapy interventions according to a physician’s plan of care. - Required Qualifications: State licensure as a Physical Therapist; minimum of 2 years experience as a PT in an acute, home care, or rehabilitation setting; current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; experience with Homecare Homebase electronic medical record system; valid license to submit application
- Preferred Qualifications: Good oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to evaluate and work within a home health environment
- Additional Information: Mileage is billable per GSA guidelines. Personal timesheets showing mileage must be signed by home health supervisors. There are meetings twice a month to have hard copies signed; photocopies of timesheets with mileage listed can be sent via email for approval. Timesheets must be sent to MSP.Mailbox@medicalsolutions.com to bill. Estimated accrued mileage begins after departing from the first assignment. Travel between housing and the first home health visit does not qualify for reimbursement. Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for less than 13-week assignments.
