Job Summary: Wichita, KS — Physical Therapist (Inpatient)
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) needed to provide patient evaluation and treatment in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include delivering daily therapy services such as gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM); 8 hours per shift; 40 hours per week; every other weekend required.
- Required Qualifications: Physical Therapist licensure; Minimum of 6 months current acute care PT experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Responsibilities: Evaluation and treatment; daily therapy including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training; supports a patient therapy time requirement in inpatient rehab and tracks therapy time/charges to help ensure required patient therapy time.
- Additional Information: Knowledge of Electronic Stim (ESTIM); patient lifts and transfer equipment; gym equipment and vital machines; experience with Meditech Magic (EMR).
