Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Inpatient for a position in the healthcare facility. This role involves delivering inpatient physical therapy services to patients with various diagnoses, including post-operative, orthopedic, stroke, and cardiovascular conditions. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic inpatient setting, contributing to patient recovery and rehabilitation.
Job Details:
- Certifications Required: BLS (American Heart Association); Licensure: Valid license to submit
- Education Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting; Experience in acute care highly preferred
- Location Requirements: Must be within a 60-mile radius of the facility; Ability to work in inpatient acute care, acute rehab, outpatient, and skilled settings
- Years of Experience: 0.0 (minimum experience required is 1 year)
- Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with one weekend per month; 40 hours per week expected
- Additional Information: Coverage areas include Med Surg, Telemetry, ICU, and community hospitals. Onsite orientation at two facilities is mandatory, with potential for some acute rehab coverage but not required. Flexibility to work a 4x10 schedule or Tues-Sat preferred.
