Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient position available in California. The role involves providing therapy services in a home-based care setting, with a focus on orthopedic, stroke, joint, and spinal injury patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Santa Maria, California
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour days, flexible shifts; majority of work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in inpatient or home health settings; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Cerner; experience with Oasis (government-mandated form); home setting experience preferred but not required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient care and working with diverse patient diagnoses such as orthopedic issues, strokes, and spinal injuries
- Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with Oasis (government-mandated form). Must have one year minimum experience working as a Physical Therapist in inpatient or home health settings. The organization operates on a flexible shift schedule, with minor holidays (major holidays only if needed). Potential cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
