Position Description:
Responsible for delivering inpatient physical therapy treatments in a high-acuity hospital setting. The therapy team includes professionals in occupational and speech therapy, serving a 600-bed trauma and specialty hospital, along with a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least 1-year experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings, with a valid physical therapy license. Experience in inpatient rehab or acute hospital environments is required.
Schedule:
Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with weekend rotation as part of a two-out-of-four-week schedule.
Additional Information:
Prior inpatient rehab experience and/or acute care hospital experience is required. The role involves working with patients requiring complex care, using therapy equipment such as walking aids, bikes, bars, and treadmills. The facility utilizes the Meditech Electronic Medical Record system.
