Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient – Outpatient, located in the region. This position involves providing outpatient and inpatient physical therapy services within an acute care and swing bed setting. The role requires assessment, treatment planning, and therapy provision primarily focused on orthopedic and neurological patient populations, adhering to all required certifications and clinical standards.
Job Details
- Certifications Required: BLS (AHA)
- Education Requirements: Graduation from a certified school of physical therapy
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience required; 0 years minimum experience noted, but 1 year is the expectation.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must reside within 80 miles of the facility.
- Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position Description: The PT will work in a unit with approximately 8-12 patients treated daily, mainly in outpatient settings, with occasional inpatient evaluations. The typical patient diagnoses include orthopedic issues and neurological conditions. The workload is primarily outpatient (90%), with a small inpatient component (5-10%). The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy services.
- Additional Information: All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility. Clinicians must have prior experience working in outpatient and inpatient environments and be able to work efficiently within electronic charting systems such as Cerner.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a valid license to submit, and must note if they have previously worked for Marshfield with an end date at least six months prior to submission.
