Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT IP) — Monterey, CA. This role supports patient-centered physical therapy services across an Acute Inpatient Unit and a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), with care spanning neurological recovery and other rehabilitation needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8 hours days, 5 days a week, 2 weekends a month; minimum 40.0 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program; active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure); CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; strong documentation and organizational skills; Strong knowledge of neurological disorders and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neurological rehabilitation or acute inpatient care; experience in geriatric rehabilitation and SNF care
- Additional Information: Split time between the Acute Inpatient Unit and a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) depending on needs of the unit; hospital provided scrubs; client cancellation may include call-off up to the equivalent of 36 hours during a 13 week assignment with no penalty
