Job Summary:
Inpatient Physical Therapist in Mattoon, Illinois. This role involves planning and executing rehabilitation programs to help patients recover their physical function. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois Physical Therapist license on the first day of assignment. The position is full-time, with a schedule of dayshift hours.
Job Details:
- Location: Mattoon, Illinois
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must have an active Illinois Physical Therapist license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- 1+ years of Physical Therapy experience, including inpatient experience
- Knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, neuroscience, and pharmacology
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills

- Develop patient plans of care based on evaluations, including short and long-term goals
- Implement and adjust treatment plans according to patient progress
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as indicated
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with third-party payer requirements
- Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to professional and state standards
- Assist with creating a clean, effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy sessions
- Submit all required documentation, including supervisory reference forms and pertinent skill checklists
