Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient care is needed in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing acute care services at a short-term acute care facility. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day. The position entails working full-time, 8-hour shifts, starting on July 20, 2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Education and Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in inpatient or acute care settings; valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
  • Skills and Specializations: Acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility (SNF), body mechanics, cervicalgia, low back pain, post-operative cervical/spinal/shoulder surgeries, spinal conditions, total hip/knee replacements, cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and patient family education.
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Previous experience with the specified charting system.
    • Ability to float between sister facilities if required; refusal to float may result in contract termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
    • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
    • Must include responses to the questionnaire about prior work at a Providence facility and provide two references covering one year within the last three years.
    • No on-call or weekend requirements are specified.
