Job Summary:
Gainesville, Georgia — a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation is sought for an immediate start. The position involves working in a 40-bed facility with adult and geriatric patient populations, focusing on treatments for conditions such as cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), hip fractures, debility, and other critical illnesses. Candidates are required to bring their license in Georgia on the first day of work. The role requires evaluation and treatment skills with an emphasis on neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric populations.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Day shift with weekend rotation, reporting at 8:00 am, with a weekly schedule of 40 hours and 8 weekend hours.
  • Required Qualifications: Georgia license in good standing; Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy; minimum of 1 year of experience in neuro or inpatient rehab; experience with adult and geriatric populations; proficiency in evaluation and treatment of neuro, ortho, and geriatric patients.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, inpatient rehab, and familiarity with GG Quality Indicators; experience managing diagnoses such as CVA, hip fracture, debility.
  • Additional Information: Equipment used includes Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt table, Car simulator, Chattanooga tower, NuStep, Omnicycle. The Electronic Health Record system is read-only access to EPIC and UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect. The position is a contractor replacement, with one opening available.
  • Schedule: 8 hours per day, with a 40-hour guarantee per week, including 8 hours of weekend coverage.
  • Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, critical illness cases.
  • Additional Notes: No call requirements, float rotation not needed. Parking is available on the side or back of the building.
