Job Summary:
Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT IP) in a healthcare facility setting. This 20-week assignment involves providing inpatient care across various units, including orthopedic, intensive care, general medicine, and oncology. The role includes managing a typical caseload of 7-10 patients per day, with scheduled shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and requires participation in weekend and holiday rotations as needed. No on-call duties are required, and previous travel experience is preferred.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour days, with shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Connecticut license, at least 2 years of inpatient physical therapy experience, inpatient care experience, and the ability to work during the specified schedule.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience.
- Additional Information: Must have 2 years of inpatient physical therapy experience. The assignment requires participation in a weekend per month and a rotation for late-night shifts from Wednesday to Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. IVS will review with the manager to extend an offer. Local candidates (75 miles or less from the facility) are accepted at lower bulk rate. During the assignment, the therapist will be considered part of the unit's rotation pool, which may include mandatory overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain adequate coverage.
