Physical Therapist, Inpatient — Chattanooga, Tennessee. This travel assignment provides physical therapy services to adult patients with medically complex conditions in an inpatient setting. Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts; 8-hour shifts; minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Tennessee physical therapist license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care or long-term acute care experience; experience treating medically complex patients.
- Additional Information: The position serves adult patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, respiratory support needs, wound care needs, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and stroke. Typical responsibilities include a combination of evaluations and treatments for approximately 8–10 patients daily, including patients with tracheostomies or ventilators. An interdisciplinary team approach is required.
