Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services with a focus on high acuity or Level 1 trauma experience. The therapist will be working predominantly during daytime shifts and may float to different inpatient units based on skillset and orientation, requiring flexibility and a strong clinical background.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts licensed Physical Therapist (PT) license. At least 2 years of inpatient Physical Therapy experience. Epic electronic medical record system experience. Must be separated from the healthcare provider for at least 6 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high acuity or Level 1 trauma inpatient facilities. Flexibility to float to Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, Emergency Department, or Step Down units based on experience and comfort.
- Additional Information: The typical patient load is 7-8 patients per day, with 22 inpatient Physical Therapists and 2 inpatient Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs). Candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in managing complex cases and adapting to various inpatient environments.
