Job Summary:
Inpatient Physical Therapist position available in Bethel, Alaska. This role involves providing full-time outpatient and inpatient physical therapy care across all patient age groups and diagnoses within the scope of practice governed by the State of Alaska. Job Details:
- Location: Bethel, Alaska
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy; current license in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist, or appropriate FSBPT paperwork completed to work as a Student Physical Therapist post-graduation; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to read, analyze, and interpret physical therapy periodicals and medical literature; ability to compose patient care documentation and medical correspondence; effective communication skills with medical staff, peers, administrative personnel, and culturally diverse patients; proficient operating a personal computer including MS Office programs and email; capable of accessing medical literature via the internet; mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret graphs; ability to solve practical problems based on limited standardization; ability to interpret instructions furnished in multiple formats.
- Additional Information: If the guaranteed hours are 40 per week, the first week they will not receive guaranteed hours due to orientation starting on a Tuesday. All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID-19 vaccinations.
