Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) — Aventura, Florida. The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide inpatient physical therapy services within a Physical Therapy unit, supporting 1:1 patient care and participating in interdisciplinary team conferences. This role operates on a day schedule and requires the therapist’s active Florida licensure. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Rotating weekends are required for call.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); PT license in Florida.
- Preferred Qualifications: IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) or SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience.
- Responsibilities: Provide inpatient physical therapy services, delivering long treatment sessions (1.5 hours) and attending team conferences.
- Additional Information: Unit equipment includes treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS. Documentation is completed using Meditech. Dress code is light gray scrubs.
