Job Summary: Physical Therapist (Home Health) — Morristown, New Jersey. This position supports patient evaluation, development of plans of care, and delivery of physical therapy interventions in an acute-care-focused setting. The role includes patient and family education, documentation of interventions, and assisting with competency development and orientation for new staff and students. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days; 8-4 pm (Monday-Friday); minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: New Jersey license to practice Physical Therapy; graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care in a large academic medical setting; Epic experience; board certification as a specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting; successful clinical affiliation experience; 0–4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (strongly preferred).
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and supporting appropriate documentation practices.
