Job Summary
Phlebotomy Technician – Days – will be responsible for specimen collection and processing in a healthcare setting. This role requires experience with all age groups, proficiency with Epic electronic health record system, and certification in phlebotomy. The position involves biweekly orientations starting on Tuesdays and requires the candidate to have been separated from their previous organization for more than six months. Prior experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Phlebotomy certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, must have worked in an acute care setting (preferably in a hospital environment), experience with all age groups, Epic (Electronic Health Record) system experience, separated from previous organization for at least 6 months
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an acute care facility setting, proficiency in handling all age groups, familiarity with biweekly orientation procedures
- Additional Information: ILH (Insider Laboratory Handling) coversheet required at time of submission. Must have phlebotomy certification and at least 2 years of experience. The candidate must have comprehensive experience with all age groups and proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic. Orientation sessions are held biweekly on Tuesdays starting on 08/11 and 08/25. Applicants should have recent experience in acute care environments.
