Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician Inpatient position is located in Portland, Oregon. This role involves technically detailed pharmacy and benefit work affecting pharmacy and health plan operations, programs, and information systems within the Pharmacy Services Department of the healthcare provider. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of 0 years of experience and scheduled for day shifts.

Job Details:

  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a managed care environment; current PHARM TECH LICENCE; managed care experience required; advanced Excel skills; experience with Cerner EMR; valid state licenses in TX, AZ, or others as applicable.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings, handling medication therapeutic interventions, assessing and patient care across age groups, comfort with all ages, familiarity with trauma level workflows, and certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (cPht).
  • Additional Information: Candidate Alejandra Nunez has 4 years of pharmacy technician experience including inpatient, retail, and pet pharmacy roles. She is proficient with Cerner and medication management. Candidate has been pre-closed on posted packages and is available for upcoming contract dates.
  • Submission Notes: Candidates should confirm past work at Providence facilities, including location and dates worked. Candidates must have their pharmacy license on the first day of assignment. No RTO requests are specified for this assignment.
