Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient position located in Springfield, Missouri, at a facility recognized for its commitment to safety and patient care. This role involves overseeing the central pharmacy operations, verifying medication products, and coordinating workflow within the pharmacy team. The position offers a stable 13-week assignment with potential for extension based on performance.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Missouri Pharmacist Licensure, BLS certification from AHA, 1 year of experience (new grads considered), and adherence to facility-specific float requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC pharmacy systems and inpatient pharmacy operations.
- Additional Information: Use EPIC dispense preparation to verify medications, including kits, crash carts, and prepack items. The pharmacist will manage workflow in the central pharmacy, oversee medication restocking, and ensure regulatory compliance. The team comprises 5 pharmacists and 10 technicians on day shift, with an emphasis on operational oversight and workflow coordination. The pharmacist will be onsite full-time and will oversee pharmacy technicians' workflow without supervising other personnel.
