Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient position located in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves verifying and checking medications, preparation of kits, crash carts, and other pharmacy functions within a central hospital pharmacy. The pharmacist will oversee workflow, ensure medication accuracy, and support pharmacy operations during evening shifts.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Evenings, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM, 7 on/7 off Thursday to Wednesday (may vary)
- Required Qualifications: Missouri Pharmacist Licensure; BLS from American Heart Association; 1 year of pharmacy experience; new graduates considered; location in Missouri; ability to work evenings; minimum 0 years of experience

- Additional Information: Use EPIC dispense preparation to verify and check medications, kits, crash carts, prepack items, and other pharmacy functions as needed. The role involves coordinating workflow in the central pharmacy, checking medication products such as IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, etc., and ensuring proper restocking of code carts. The primary pharmacist in this position will oversee central pharmacy operations, supervising workflow of technicians and overseeing medication verification tasks. The assignment is ongoing, with a high likelihood of extension based on performance, and training duration will be approximately 2-3 weeks depending on capability.
