Job Summary:
A Pharmacy Technician position is available in Ogden, Utah. This role requires candidates to support pharmacy operations within a busy hospital environment, providing assistance with medication management and other clinical activities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The schedule is a 7-day on, 7-day off rotation, primarily working nights.
Job Details:
- Location: Ogden, Utah
- Schedule: Nights, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 30 hours per week, 7 ON 7 OFF rotation
- Required Qualifications: Valid pharmacy technician license; experience in technician management; proficiency with Pyxis and CIISafe systems; VigiLanz software experience; familiarity with Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, and BD Pyxis documentation systems; BLS or ALS certification preferred but not required.
- Additional Information: The pharmacy operates 24 hours daily with five staff pharmacists throughout the day (AM 3, PM 1, Night 1). The pharmacy department handles a wide variety of clinical tasks, including medication consults, drug information, and intervention management with VigiLanz software. The team has high tenure and experience, making for a supportive and engaging work environment.
