Job Summary:
The inpatient pharmacist role is based in Lubbock, Texas. This position involves providing pharmaceutical services in a hospital setting, requiring hospital experience with some exposure to pediatrics. Candidates are expected to bring their license on the first day. The role includes a night shift schedule initially, transitioning to a day shift later in the year, with a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: Valid Texas pharmacy license; Certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support); minimum 1 year hospital experience with some exposure to pediatrics; experience with Epic electronic medical record system; ability to work night shifts (2000 - 0630).
- Schedule: 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, night shift from 2000 to 0630. Transition to day shift later in the year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient / acute care, pediatric dosing, sterile technique, and a broad range of pharmaceutical skills listed in the primary description.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates should have at least 1 year of hospital experience, with references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
