Job Summary:
The inpatient Pharmacist position is located in Lubbock, Texas. The role involves providing pharmaceutical care in a pediatric and general inpatient hospital setting. Candidates must bring their pharmacy license on the first day. This position offers a 10-hour night shift, with a schedule of seven days on and seven days off, initially starting in July 2026 with the potential transition to a day shift later in the year.
Job Details:
- Location: Lubbock, Texas
- Shift: Night shift, 2000 - 0630, 7 days on and 7 days off, commencing on 07/13/2026, with a planned transition to a day shift later in the year (July/August).
- Schedule: Nights, 40 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacist in Texas, NABP number 501732, at least 1 year hospital experience, with exposure to pediatrics, BLS certification, IV sterile compounding certification, immunization certification, anti-coagulation training, and experience with Epic electronic health record system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chemotherapy, sterile and non-sterile compounding, anticoagulation management, and familiarity with hospital trauma levels I and II.
- Additional Information: Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Past travel experience is preferred. Flu vaccine status is unspecified, and COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
