Job Summary
Pharmacist Inpatient – PHARM IP – Location unspecified. This position involves providing pharmaceutical care within an inpatient hospital setting, with a focus on acute care and clinical dosing. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to hospital protocols to ensure safe medication management.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options between 5x8 hours or 4x10 hours shifts.
- Required Qualifications: PA state license in hand, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years inpatient/pharmacy experience, experience with EPIC Beacon and Pyxis systems, and ability to care for COVID patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient/acute care, clinical dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, IV piggyback and IV push medications, and prior experience with Mail Order, Retail Pharmacy, Skilled Nursing, or Trauma Level II units.
- Additional Information: Must have completed EKG testing within 72 hours of signing the travel contract. Candidates must notify in advance if they are tobacco or fragrance-sensitive.
- Submission Requirements: All pharmacists/pharmacy techs must have their PA license in hand for PA-based work.
