Job Summary
Perfusionist – PROF – Location Not Specified. This position involves providing advanced perfusion services for cardiac, thoracic, and liver transplant cases, including ECMO support, lung transplants on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and complex cardiovascular procedures. The role requires managing a broad spectrum of cases with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must possess ABCP (American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion) certification, Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License, a high school diploma or college degree, and a minimum of 5 years of experience including recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting on 10/26/2026 and ending on 04/24/2027.
- Responsibilities include operating POC devices, handling all types of cardiac cases such as coronary artery bypass grafts, valve surgeries, adult congenital, dissections, complex aortic procedures, minimally invasive surgeries, and supporting ECMO and other transplant procedures.
- The team manages in-house ECMO 24/7, responds to cannulations, circuit manipulations, and transport, as well as supporting TAVRs, LLE, and rare combo cases involving vascular procedures.
- Additional responsibilities include ECMO transports, NRP, and participation in HiPEC cases.
- IVS to interview/Manager to offer.
