Job Summary
Perfusionist – PROFECTIONIST, unspecified location. This position involves providing perfusion support across a variety of complex cardiac and thoracic procedures, including lung and liver transplants, ECMO, and other high-acuity cases. The role requires extensive experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility and the ability to operate Point of Care devices, supporting a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: High school diploma or college degree; American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) certification; Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License; minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Cover a wide range of cardiac, thoracic, and liver transplant cases, including ECMO support, TAVRs, LLE, and HIPEC procedures. Respond to all cannulations, circuit manipulations, and decannulations for ECMO, providing standby for sporadic vascular cases and organ recovery. Operate Point of Care devices and assist with complex surgeries regardless of case complexity.
