Job Details
- Role: Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room (OR)

- Schedule: Days shift, 4x10 hours, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association (AHA), required. Education: Must have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Experience: 1 year plus Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting. Location Requirement: Springfield, MO.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma experience with multiple years of hospital setting experience.
- Responsibilities include setting up surgical cases across multiple specialties, maintaining a sterile environment, performing instrument, sponge, and sharp counts, assisting OR staff, and functioning as a resource for newly hired Surgical Technicians and students.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work differing schedules, shifts, and on-call shifts. The role involves lifting and pushing patients, equipment, and instruments, working in high-stress situations, and strict adherence to Universal Precautions.
