Job Summary
The location is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) for a position in the OR (Operating Room). The role involves patient care within the operating room environment, ensuring safety and effective treatment, and participating in a comprehensive surgical team. The position requires flexibility to participate in 24-hour call coverage and the ability to prepare and maintain surgical instrumentation and equipment.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: Washington State Surgical Technician (OR Tech) license required, current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification card on hire, and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include scrubbing a wide variety of surgical cases, maintaining operating room standards, and participating in 24-hour call coverage as needed.
- The Surgical Technician is responsible for the care, preparation, and maintenance of surgical instrumentation and equipment to facilitate safe patient procedures.
- Submission requirements involve standard documentation and licensure verification for employment consideration.
