Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Tech in an acute care setting. The position supports surgical procedures across vascular, general, orthopedic, neurological, ophthalmic, and ear, nose, and throat specialties, with Da Vinci robot experience required. The role includes rotating 12-hour shifts and scheduled call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 2 years of experience; Da Vinci robot experience.
- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with one weekend call rotation during the assignment and weekday call approximately every 4–6 weeks.
- Assignment Dates: 11/23/2026–02/22/2027.
- Additional Information: Acute care setting with Level II trauma services. The surgical department performs vascular, general, orthopedic, neurological, ophthalmic, and ear, nose, and throat procedures, excluding open-heart cases. Approximately 65 cases are performed daily across operating room and endoscopy suites.
