Job Summary:
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician - ORT in a healthcare facility. This role involves preparing the operating room, including the sterile field, setting up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions. The position requires passing instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery, managing surgical equipment, and maintaining the sterile field and specimens.
Job Details:
- Certifications and education required: BLS certification, Certified Surgical Technician (CST) through a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program, and a minimum of 2 years of experience including prior travel experience.
- Position type: Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in the ORT specialty.
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Start date: 11/02/2026.
- End date: 01/09/2027.
- Additional information: All travel submissions must have at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No locals will be accepted. Certification must be current through successful completion of a program accredited by CAAHEP or similar and passing the CST examination.
