Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician, Sterile Processing Tech, Wausau, Wisconsin. This 13-week assignment supports sterile processing operations through the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage of patient-care instrumentation, equipment, and supplies. The position works weekend night shifts and may support sterile cores associated with operating rooms.
Job Details
- Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 12-hour night shifts; 36 hours per week. Holidays are required, with an every-other-holiday rotation.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma; minimum of 3 years of sterile processing experience; completion of at least one travel assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Sterile processing certification; graduation from a sterile processing program; associate degree or certificate.
- Responsibilities: Perform decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and storage activities in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Support sterile processing department operations and may work in sterile operating room cores.
- Assignment Details: 13-week contract beginning 11/16/2026. Scrub color may be any color.
