Sterile Processing Technician, Instrument Tech — Joplin, Missouri. The Sterile Processing Technician supports instrument processing operations, including decontamination, sterilization, autoclave operation, sterility assurance, assembly, and preparation. Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) certification through the applicable certifying organization
- At least 2 years of experience
- Strong skills in decontamination, sterilization, autoclaves, sterility assurance, instrument assembly, and preparation
- Additional Information:
- Flu vaccination is required from November 1 through April 1; exemptions must be approved by the healthcare provider.
- Black scrubs are required.
