Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) — Burlington, Massachusetts. The organization is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to support a Sterile Processing Team (SPT) position in the high-level disinfection (HLD) unit. The role focuses on decontamination and cleaning, preparation and packaging, sterilization, high-level disinfection, and sterile storage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40.0 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Sterile Processing Tech — MBSPD (Master Certification in Sterile Processing) or IAHCSMM/HSPA (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management/Healthcare Sterile Processing Association); experience with decontamination and cleaning, prep and packaging, sterilization, high-level disinfection, and sterile storage; able to meet eligibility requirements that require being separated from the named prior organization for 6+ months and in good standing to be considered.
