Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the Boston metropolitan area. This full-time position involves working a 10-day shift schedule with a combination of day and night shifts within a surgical services environment. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting, adhering to facility protocols and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-day shift, with 2 night calls per 4-week schedule, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) only and American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS); certifications must be valid and in packet at time of submission. Four years of experience required. Ability to concentrate and prioritize in a distracting environment; ability to work efficiently and quickly; ability to work well in a surgical services environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Need ASAP start; BILH cover sheet required at time of submission. Nurse Manager to interview and extend offer; please provide interview availability at time of submission. No time off exceeding 4 days will be approved, and all RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission.
