Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in Winchester, VA. This position involves working in a specialized surgical environment focused on cardiac procedures. The role requires a qualified CVOR Technician (Certified Vascular Operating Room Technician) with relevant experience to support cardiovascular surgeries.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 6:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (4x10 hours) with rotating days off per week, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a CVOR Technician, current VA State License (with stated license status), BLS certification (American Heart Association), NBSTSA Certificate
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult cardiac patients, familiarity with equipment such as IABP, ECMO, Atricure machine, and Impella 5.5
- Unit Information:
- Number of beds: 2 CVOR and 1 Hybrid Room
- Patient ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: IABP, ECMO, Atricure machine, Impella 5.5
- Additional Information:
- On-Call may include weekends, with 10-12 calls in a 4-week period
- Appropriate scrubs (blue) required per dress code policy
