Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), BLS certification; minimum 2 years of experience in operating room or open heart surgery.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must have open heart experience, able to scrub Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robot, General, and Gyne surgeries. Careful adherence to scrubbing with surgical blue attire.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system and Stryker equipment.
- Additional Information: Must include required license and certifications with submission. Certification of open heart surgery experience is mandatory; capable of scrub duties across various surgical specialties.
- Travelers Submission Requirements: Attach required license and certifications, include driver’s license and permanent home address matching ID, and demonstrate a minimum distance of over 50 miles from the facility.
