Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in Silverdale, Washington. This position involves supporting cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures in a busy CVOR suite with a high case volume. Candidates must hold a Washington state license and be prepared to bring their license on the first day. The role requires flexibility with shift schedules, including days, weekends, and holiday call.

Job Details:

  • Location: Silverdale, Washington
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with varied start times (0715-1500), encompassing weekday, weekend, and possible holiday call. Shift minimum is 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifies include BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). Candidates must possess a Washington state license and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Robotics experience is preferred but not required; willingness to train on robotics such as Da Vinci XI is available. Scrubbing experience is preferred for RNs but not mandatory.
  • Additional Information:
    • Common cases include standard cardiac procedures, caths, and thoracic cases.
    • Robotics for cardiac and vascular procedures are utilized, with training available for candidates without experience.
    • Support roles include charge nurse and resource nurse for CVOR and main OR.
    • Call response time is 30 minutes, with on-call hours after shifts.
    • Weekend and holiday coverage are managed through rotation, with call shifts scheduled to include 12-hour days, nights, and 24-hour backup shifts.
    • Floating to main OR is possible for vascular cases; floor-specific orientation is approximately one week.
    • EMR system utilized is EPIC.
