Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Specialist in Salem, VA ? This role involves performing advanced surgical procedures within a specialized cardiovascular operating environment. The professional will work in a fast-paced unit that performs complex surgeries, including CABG, Thoracotomy, Endo AAA, Valve Replacement, and Pacemaker insertions, supporting patient care from preoperative to postoperative stages.
Job Details
- Position Description: NO RTO, START WITHIN TWO WEEKS, 40 HOURS per week and day shifts.
- Location: Salem, VA, at a healthcare facility with a 2-bed CVOR unit, staffed with 6 personnel (3 RNs, 3 CSTs).
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), operating room or open heart surgery experience, valid certification, and ability to start within two weeks.
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have scrubbing experience and possess a flexible, knowledgeable, and self-starting personality. The role includes weekday, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities.
