Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart (OH) specialty position located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This role involves working in a highly specialized surgical setting with responsibilities that include caring for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as Aortic Aneurysm repair, Angioplasty/stenting, Atrial Septal defect repair, and more. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position involves a schedule of 8-hour shifts, with call every third day and the potential for two weekends per month.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts with call every third day, possible two weekends a month, minimum 40 hours per week, scheduled to start on 07/20/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications — NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting), BLS (Basic Life Support); Experience — 2 years in Cardiovascular Operating Room; Electronic Medical Record (EMR) — EPIC; Location — Pennsylvania; Years of Experience — 0+ minimum.
  • Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting experience; AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) certifications.
  • Float: Possible to float to general OR as needed.
  • Additional Information: Will care for COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free; notify prior to submission. RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requests should be minimized to 7 days maximum per contract. No RN license hits are accepted; candidate must have NBSTSA certification to work as a surgical technologist or surgical assistant in the operating room setting.
  • Clinical and Operational Details: May include duties such as advanced cardiac procedures—including Mitral valve replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and more. Equipment and safety protocols such as Fire Safety, Aseptic Technique, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, and Universal Protocol will be integral to daily responsibilities.
