Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart — This position supports cardiac surgical procedures in an operating room setting. The role requires recent specialty experience, participation in scheduled call coverage, and availability for designated holiday assignments.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; 10-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty; American Heart Association (AHA) — Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Surgical Technology through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- Additional Information: Cardiac experience is required. Block scheduling is not available. Six days of call per month are required. The role requires working two major holidays and one minor holiday from the designated holiday schedule.
