- Position Description: MSP: University of Florida Health Corporation Facility: UF Health Jacksonville Downtown OR Location: 655 W. 8th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
- Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Days (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM), 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program; BLS (AHA or American Red Cross); NBSTSA, NCCT, or AST certification (required within one year of hire/transfer); Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience; CVOR Surgical Technologist experience required; recent heart experience required; EPIC experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong cardiac experience highly preferred; Peripheral vascular experience preferred; Vascular and Neuro experience a plus.
- Features: Travel required; float rotation may be required; previous travel experience and academic/teaching facility experience required.
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting cardiac surgeries, with a focus on cardiovascular procedures, and requires flexibility and adaptability to clinical and operational needs. The candidate must be able to respond within 45 minutes for call requirements and have no recent employment gaps greater than 180 days.
