Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Open Heart. This full-time travel position supports a cardiovascular operating room team within a hybrid cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role requires current cardiovascular operating room experience, Colorado licensure, and readiness to work rotating shifts and call coverage.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program; certification in surgical technology through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); current Colorado Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA); at least 1 year of current cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); current influenza vaccination required, with no exemptions accepted.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating call schedule; 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position supports a cardiovascular operating room team within a hybrid cardiac catheterization laboratory. Proof of influenza vaccination is required for submission and for assignments occurring from October 1 through April 1.
