Job Summary: Operating Room (Open Heart) Surgical Services Technician (CST) — Boston, Massachusetts
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Surgical Services Technician (CST) opportunity for an acute care setting. Responsibilities include supporting surgical teams during procedures, with a focus on strong cardiac skills while remaining flexible to support other cases as cardiac volumes fluctuate. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: 3x12 hour nights plus call; 36.0 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; CST skills with a strong cardiac skill set; minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Prefer travel experience
- Additional Information: Call may be possible if there are unit holes or swaps, as determined by the manager based on unit comfort; weekend rotations are possible as well; charting is documented in Cerner
