Job Summary:
Operating Room (First Assistant) in Brooksville, Florida. - Required Qualifications: Certifications include EVH certification through NSAA or ABSA, BLS, CFSA through CAAHEP or CST through ABHES, and NBSTSA certification. Candidates must have at least 3 years of cardiovascular experience, Vein Harvesting experience, and the ability to independently perform vein harvesting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to perform vein harvesting independently; experience as a First Assist in operating room procedures; proficiency in surgical instrument handling and patient positioning.
- Additional Information: No locals due to a 60 miles radius rule. The candidate must be capable of independently performing vein harvesting or First Assist duties, including coverage for surgical tech roles as needed. The position involves assisting during surgeries by positioning patients, using retractors and sponges, controlling bleeding, closing wounds, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure proper patient care.
