Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse — Location unspecified. This position involves providing high-risk obstetric care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a high volume of deliveries, including VBACs, Caesareans, and natural births. The role requires rotation shifts with weekends and Fridays, and offers a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: 12-hour rotating day and night shifts for a 36-hour workweek. No on-call requirements.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BSN or higher degree, professional certification (e.g., AWHONN, TNCC, ENPC), and recent experience in tertiary/high-risk obstetrics, including Level III NICU. Experience with high-volume deliveries (VBACs, Caesarians, natural births). No first-time travelers; must have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Orientation occurs weekly, with interviews and offers scheduled by nurse management. No local travelers accepted; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. Extensive parking options are available, and public transportation information can be provided upon request.
