Job Summary
Endoscopy Lab position supporting adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. The role performs diagnostic and surgical endoscopy procedures, instrument processing, and related clinical support across three procedure rooms. The assignment is scheduled from 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Three years of relevant experience; previous travel experience; compact license in hand at submission; experience with outpatient care, assembly and wrapping, scrubbing, aseptic technique, instrument processing and cleaning, sterilization and disinfection, high-level disinfection, urology cases, endoscopic procedures, and laparoscopic procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience with adolescent patients; experience with ear, nose, and throat instrumentation and tray reprocessing; familiarity with endoscopic ultrasound equipment and specialized sterilization and decontamination equipment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- On-call coverage includes weeknights from 4:30 PM to 7:30 AM and rotating 24-hour weekend shifts, averaging approximately eight weeknights and two weekends per six-week schedule.
- Clinical procedures may include bronchoscopy, bone marrow biopsies, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, upper endoscopy with Bravo, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), flexible sigmoidoscopy, loop recorders, and prostate biopsies.
- Required surgical case experience includes urology and endoscopic or laparoscopic procedures.
- The role supports instrument processing and clinical procedures in an acute care environment serving adult and geriatric patients.
